Talus provided a solution to the challenge of a disjointed and linear showroom by demolishing the middle third of the retail area whilst keeping the store open to the public throughout the project. Works involved the filling of a basement floor, removal of a concrete roof and the creation of a dedicated built-in appliance zone lit from above by a light-well.

This all undertaken and completed within a 12 week construction period, in time for Gillman’s busiest period of the year in the run up to Christmas. This phase of the showroom redevelopment has provided a strong focal point in the local street scene for advertising the company alongside a busy road.
